Who can use Multibanking?

Multibanking is for ABN AMRO personal customers aged 16 or over, who have one or more current accounts with a different bank. 

The current accounts of which banks can be added?

You can currently add current accounts you hold with ASN Bank, ING, Rabobank, RegioBank and SNS. In the future, you'll be able to add accounts held with almost any Dutch bank. 

What does ABN AMRO do with the details for accounts I hold with other banks?
We will treat your details associated with the accounts you hold with other banks in the same way that we do your ABN AMRO account details. For more information, please read our privacy statement.
Will a transfer be processed faster if I add current accounts held with other banks?
No, the transfer processing speed will remain the same.
Can I use a current account I hold with another bank when making a transfer from my ABN AMRO account overview?
No, you can only view the balance and the transactions of at least 90 days for any of the accounts you hold with another bank.

Adding or removing an account

How do I add a current account I hold with another bank?
  • You give the other bank permission once only (link) to forward us your account details. 
  • Add your other current accounts
  • We retrieve your account details from the other bank each time you log in to the Mobile Banking app or Internet Banking.
  • You can always view your current balance and the transactions of at least 90 days.
Can I add my ABN AMRO current accounts to another bank's account overview?
This depends on your other bank. If your bank supports Multibanking, you will also be able to add your ABN AMRO current accounts to that bank's account overview.
Can I also add a savings or investment account I hold with another bank?
No, you can only add current accounts held with other banks at this time.

Giving permission

I have current accounts at different banks. Do I have to give each bank permission separately?

Yes, you give each bank permission once only. You will be asked to renew your permission after 90 days.

Why do I have to renew my permission after 90 days?
This is required by law.
