Blocking your debit card in the ABN AMRO app

If you have lost your debit card or it has been stolen, it is wise to block it right away so that it cannot be misused. Below you will find a step-by-step guide to blocking your debit card using the ABN AMRO app

Step 1: Log in

  1. Log in to the ABN AMRO app.
  2. Go to the 'Settings' tab.

Step 2: Make a selection

  1. Select 'debit cards'.

Step 3: Select a debit card

Tap '(Un)block/replace debit card'.

Step 4: Open your browser

You will leave the app and be taken to the browser.

Step 5: Block card in the browser

Select 'Block'.

Step 6: Check and confirm

  1. Check the details.
  2. Enter your mobile number if you would like to receive instant confirmation by text message.
  3. Tap 'Block’'.

Your debit card has now been blocked.
